Pretty Presets - Kari Smith Photography Children's Photographer, Trafalgar, Indiana

I love using Pretty Presets and tweaking them to fit my images. For this particular image I used "Dazzling" and tweaked the contrast up a bit for a bold look.

Isn't it just the right amount of saturated color for this fall portrait?  Resisting to purchase more of their presets :)

Backlight Portrait - Kari Smith Photography Freetown, Indiana Children's Photographer

Rock the Shot is having a photo contest with backlight portrait. I knew exactly which one I wanted to enter :) This is my baby girl with her beloved old mare. She wanted a picture with her horse and I knew exactly what look I wanted. I love the warmth and light in this image and the love between my girl and her horse.

My Poor Neglected Blog - Kari Smith Photography Newborn Photographer - Freetown, Indiana

Wow - its been a while.... ooops. I have been working on updating the website www.karismithphoto.com to reflect the new sophisticated, chic look that I unveiled in January on my Facebook page. Kinda forgot about this bloggy. :-(

I am looking into hosting on a new format for my blog and having a custom blog address instead of one that has blogspot or wordpress in the address. Trying to decide which is the best route to go right now and I plan to have the new blog up and going by May. Fingers crossed.

Meanwhile - how about a couple sweet little newborns to kick off the 2011 postings???
